NekokoLPA is an open-source tool for managing eSIM profiles. It can be used with a programmable eUICC card such as GLesim. On iPhone, connect a dedicated USB card reader through Lightning or Type-C first.

1Insert GLesim into the reader
Connect the reader to the phone
Allow USB access

1. Connect Reader and Allow USB

Insert the GLesim eUICC card into the USB reader, then connect the reader to the phone through Lightning or Type-C. When the USB permission prompt appears, allow access.

2. Open App and Tap “+”

Open NekokoLPA and confirm that the GLesim card is detected. If the card is empty, tap the “+” button to open the download profile page.

3. Tap the Arrowed Scan Area

On the download profile page, tap the scan area shown by the arrow first. If there is no QR code, paste the full LPA activation string, or enter the SM-DP+ Address and Matching ID separately.

4. Scan and Wait for Download

When the scan page appears, center the eSIM QR code in the frame. After it is detected, continue as prompted and wait for the profile to download and write. Do not unplug the reader during this process.

5. Enable the eSIM Card and Insert It

After the download and write process finishes, open the eSIM profile and enable it. Once enabled, insert the GLesim physical eSIM card into your phone to use it.
